Share the Spirit Yukon
Share the Spirit Yukon is our commitment to our city and territory’s less fortunate families to help make their Christmas magical, even in hard times. We organize with government, non-profit, and business partners, alongside any regular citizens with a desire to help out in this season of giving. The goal is to make sure every child gets something under their tree at Christmas, and receives a food hamper for their family with all the trimmings for a proper Christmas feast.
Proudly carrying the torch lit by Ed and Donna Isaak in 1996, carried the Kinnettes and Kin Club from 2000-2015, we are proud to say that Share the Spirit Yukon is the largest gift and hamper donation program in Northern Canada, due to the generous donations from Yukoners who keep it going and growing. The program is currently running in Whitehorse, Dawson City, Haines Junction, Carmacks, Carcross, Old Crow, Mayo, Pelly Crossing, Tagish, and Watson Lake. Our hope is to expand the reach of Share the Spirit each year until, one day, not a single family goes without at Christmas – right across the Yukon and beyond.

Use us to do good
What is the nature of a firefighter? Strong, quick to act, reliable, compassionate, friendly, team first—self second, plus kids want to dress like them for Halloween! Sound like the kind of people you want on your charitable project? We hope so because, in case you didn’t know, we’re firefighters on the side. When you use us to do good, these traits come with the package.
